• TransOp FFS SRS

Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) encompasses several different procedures which are designed to alter a patient's masculine facial features so that they are more feminine in shape and appearance.  It is most often, but not always, performed on transgender patients as a critical part of transitioning to their true gender. FFS is customized for each patient and is not a "one size fits all" surgery.

Many of our facial feminization patients have work done on their hairlines and foreheads as these areas most often require attention. Other parts of the face that are frequently feminized include the chin, jaw, nose, and trachea.  Finally, some patients will need feminization procedures to treat the lips and cheeks while a minority of patients will also need hair transplant surgery to address male pattern baldness.
